Larry E. Richmond

CLINTON — Larry E. Richmond, 50, of Clinton, Iowa, and former Freeport resident died Thursday in his home.

He was born August 5, 1959, in Freeport, Illinois the son of Richard E. and Ida (Walden) Richmond.

Mr. Richmond moved from Freeport to Clinton, Iowa and was employed by S.S. Holding Company in Clinton. He was a former member of St. Martin Missionary Baptist Church, Freeport.

Mr. Richmond is survived by his father of Freeport; two sons, Richard Davis and Larry Richmond Jr. both of Freeport; three daughters, Latricia Davis and Alliyah Johnson, both of Freeport and Dasada Richmond of Rockford; his brother, Alfred Richmond of Rockford; two sisters, Julie Richmond of Rockford and Joyce Crochrell of Freeport; also four grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his grandparents, mother and his special cousin, Ray Richmond.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, 1:00 p.m. at Philippians Missionary Baptist Church, Freeport. The Rev. Nathan Allison, pastor, will officiate. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Burial will be in the City Cemetery, Freeport.
