CLINTON —
The Clinton Labor Congress’ annual Labor Day Picnic drew a large crowd on Sunday afternoon to the Eagle Point Lodge.
Attendees enjoyed food, drink and conversation during the annual event held to celebrate workers.
Representatives from various labor organizations and political candidates attended the event. Many of the groups shared information about the upcoming election.
Political candidates who attended the event included U.S. Rep. Dave Loebsack, D-Iowa; State Rep. Mary Wolfe, D-Clinton; Clinton County Sheriff Rick Lincoln; Clinton County Supervisor John Staszewski and Clinton County Auditor Eric Van Lancker.
Former State Sen. Roger Stewart, D-Preston, also attended the event.
