CLINTON —
Incumbent John Staszewski was re-elected Tuesday to the Clinton County Board of Supervisors.
“I’ve enjoyed my four years and I’m glad I have another four years to work towards the betterment of Clinton County,” Staszewski said Tuesday night in a telephone interview.
Unofficial numbers show Staszewski receiving 13,046 votes to opponent Tom Determann’s 10,697.
These numbers include a total of 7,306 absentee votes for Staszewski and 4,581 absentee votes for Determann.
Both candidates congratulated each other on running a good race. Staszewski added that he is happy that the election is over and thanked the people of Clinton County for supporting him.
Determann said that he was at a loss for words about his loss to Staszewski. He wished Staszewski good luck and said he would do a fine job.
“The sun will come up tomorrow,” Determann said.
