Data Dimensions worker gives back to community

CLINTON — Nancy Busse, recipient of the 2012 Data Dimension’s Marjorie C. Bush Memorial Award, recently gifted United Way of Clinton County, Iowa with $2,500.

She was nominated for the award by her peers for exemplary service.

The Marjorie C. Bush Memorial Award was established to honor individual Data Dimensions and affiliate company team members who demonstrate outstanding performance in their work and/or commitment to community service, or inspire others through their ability to overcome adversity.

The award is given in memory of Marjorie C. Bush, wife of Data Dimensions’ founder, Walter L. Bush, and Board of Directors member from 1984-2008.

Marge exemplified professionalism, integrity, courage, generosity, and compassion throughout her life.

Award recipients are nominated by co-workers as one who best represent the values by which Marge lived. Busse has been an Operations Specialist at the Clinton Data Dimensions site for 23 years.

A financial gift to be given to a charity of the recipient’s choice is provided with the award.

Brent Andresen, United Way Board President, “thanked Nancy for giving to United Way and for receiving the honor. The generous gift will help many people in need.” Busse chose to give the monetary gift to United Way of Clinton County, Iowa because the organization provides support to 17 different nonprofit human service agencies that help individuals and families throughout Clinton County.
