CLINTON —
The Clinton Arts Players will host an art camp this week.
The event, “Oh Those Summer Knights,” will be held from Thursday through Saturday from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the River Arts Center, 229 Fifth Ave. South.
The Clinton Arts Players, in association with the Clinton Art Association, will put together the three-day camp for children ages 5 to 13. The event will center around art activities based on the era of the Middle Ages. Some of the activities include creating a coat of arms, learning authentic dances of the era and creating inflatable swords.
The workshop caps off with a performance on Saturday.
The time for the performance on Saturday will be announced based on information obtained from parents.
The cost is $30 per child and includes all activities, materials, lunch and two snacks per day. The workshop is limited to 25 children. For more information, call the Clinton Arts Players at (563) 613-0159.
