CLINTON —
The Miss Clinton County Scholarship Program has announced its newly elected officers for the Board of Directors.
Executive committee members are Jeanne Williams, executive director; Rachael Vopatek, president; Angela Broadrick, vice president; Betty Burken, treasurer; and Barbara Foster, secretary.
The Miss Clinton County Scholarship Program Board is a not-for-profit organization made up of an all-volunteer board. The MCC Board seeks to empower young women from the Clinton area to achieve academic and professional goals through the Miss Clinton County Pageant, which is a preliminary for the Miss Iowa competition.
All contestants competing for the title of Miss Clinton County earn scholarship money to continue their college education. Board members are currently planning their next fundraiser, a “Royal Tea Party and Fashion Show” scheduled for Sunday, March 24.
