Lululemon recalls see-through yoga pants

Lululemon announced on its website Monday that it has recalled some of its black luon pants because they were too sheer.

"The ingredients, weight and longevity qualities of the women’s black luon bottoms remain the same but the coverage does not, resulting in a level of sheerness in some of our women’s black luon bottoms that fall short of our very high standards," stated the company in a release.

The release indicated that the pants have been pulled from Lululemon's site and stores and a shortage is expected. The affected pants represent about 17 percent of all women's bottoms in stores.

"We are working closely with our manufacturing partner to understand what happened during the period this specific fabric was made," the company said in its release. "We are doing everything we can to increase our inventory levels of black luon women’s bottoms in our stores as soon as possible."

Customers who purchased the black luon pants on or after March 1 and believe their items are affected are invited to exchange or return the pants for a full refund.
