Two arrested in Fulton Dollar General burglary

FULTON, Ill. — Two Chicago residents have been arrested in connection with a recent burglary at the Dollar General Store in Fulton.

Stephen M. Sato and Julie Korotkov, both of Chicago, are in the Whiteside County Jail charged with burglary. The pair also could be facing additional charges in Morrison and Port Byron, Ill., police said.

The two were arrested after arrest and search warrants were executed Tuesday at 3376 Riverview Road in Thomson, Ill. Their bond has been set at $200,000, of which they must post 10 percent.

Assisting in the investigation are the Carroll County Sheriff’s Department, Carroll County State’s Attorney, Whiteside County State’s Attorney and the Thomson Police Department.
