CLINTON —
A Clinton business process outsourcing facility is filling 40 new positions.
“It’s exciting from the standpoint that it’s been a while since we’ve been able to add this many jobs at one time, ” Nikki Hardin, operations manager of the Clinton Data Dimensions facility, said.
The 40 new data entry positions include a mixture of first and second shift, as well as full-time and part-time jobs.
Hardin attributed the new positions to a new block of business awarded to Data Dimensions. Those employed will be keying in medical billing information into a client system.
Originally, the facility planned for 29 new jobs. However, President and CEO Jon Boumstein said in a Friday telephone interview that in the past few days, the customer informed them the job would be larger than first anticipated.
The facility, located at 2001 Manufacturing Court, has been aggressively testing and interviewing people for the positions this past week.
This will continue until all positions are filled. Hardin is very happy with the response they have received from the community.
She wanted to emphasize that there are good positions on second shift, which usually takes longer to fill.
Data Dimensions provides imaging and storage retrieval services and converts paper structured forms, such as medical claim forms, loan applications and surveys, and hardcopy documents, such as drawings and diagrams, into electronic documents.
The business is a second-generation, family business with facilities in Janesville, Wis., and Brookfield, Wis., as well as Clinton.
The company is currently celebrating its 30th anniversary.
The Clinton facility opened in 1988.
It currently employs 75 people within multiple departments, including a mailroom, a clerical department, two scanning departments and a data capture department.
“It’s actually a very exciting time for us, just to have the additional number of employees being able to work here,” Hardin said.
She added that they are excited at “just being able to be part of adding to the economy and employing more individuals.”
Boumstein is also excited to see the increase of jobs at the Clinton facility, which he described as a very stable, steadfast and important facility for Data Dimensions.
He said the Clinton community is a strong player in the Data Dimensions family.
“The Clinton facility has been one of the anchors to Data Dimensions for years,” Boumstein said.
