Susan L. Tiesman, age 57, of Bellevue, IA, passed away Wednesday, Dec. 26, 2012, at the University of Iowa Hospital and Clinics in Iowa City.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, Jan. 3, 2013, at the Pape Funeral Home, Clinton. Visitation will be held Thursday from 9:30 a.m. until the service hour at the funeral home. Burial will be at Clinton Lawn Cemetery, Clinton. Casket bearers will be members of her family. Online condolences may be left at www.papefh.com.
Susan was born on Sept. 22, 1955, in Nevada, IA, the daughter of Ernest and Kathleen (Daniels) Miller. She married Landon Tiesman on June 1, 1977, in Clinton. She was a homemaker and enjoyed spending time with her family. She was a member of the A.S.P.C.A. and enjoyed doing crafts, watching horror movies and practicing W.I.C.A.
Susan is survived by her husband, Landon, of Bellevue, IA; two sons, Shawn and Joshuah Tiesman, both of Dubuque, IA; two granddaughters, Madison and Bayley; three brothers, Brad, Dan and Mark Miller; and a sister, Cindy Miller.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister.
