Eileen K. Pitts, age 88, of Aurora, IL, formerly of Clinton, IA, died on December 28, 2012 in Aurora, IL.
Funeral Mass will be held 10:30 a.m. Wednesday Jan. 2, 2013, at Prince of Peace Parish, Clinton. No perfume, please. Visitation will be held Wednesday from 9:30 a.m. until the service hour at the church. The Pape Funeral Home is assisting the family. Burial will be at St. Irenaeus Cemetery, Clinton. Eileen was born on April 16, 1924, in Clinton, IA, the daughter of Vernon D. and Gertrude (Heun) Ketelsen. She was a Lyons High School graduate. She married James F. Pitts on Sept 30, 1948, in Clinton. She worked at Culligan for 27 years. In 1999, she moved to Aurora, IL.
Eileen is survived by two children, Vernon Peter Pitts (Patricia) of Oswego, IL, and Marsha Forys (John) of Georgetown, TX; and two grandchildren, Corbin Pitts of Chicago, IL, and Daniel Pitts of Oswego, IL.
