Jacqueline L. Cowan, 61, of Glenwood and Oelwein, Iowa, formerly of Clinton, died Tuesday, February 5, 2013, at the Allen Hospital in Waterloo, Iowa.
A Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Friday, February 8, 2013, at Prince of Peace Catholic Church. Burial will be in the St. Mary’s Cemetery, Clinton. Jacqueline F. Cowan was born on September 19, 1951, in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Gordon and Rosemary (Bruns) Cowan. She moved to Glenwood at a young age for 30 years in a place her and her family considered home. She just recently moved to Oelwein for further care. She enjoyed action movies and Patrick Swayze movies especially “Dirty Dancing.” She also loved Beanie Babies.
Jacqueline is survived by her sister, Patricia Fuegen, and her husband, Chuck, of Morrison, Illinois; a niece, April Fuegen; a nephew, Matthew Fuegen, and his wife, Ashlee; a great-nephew, Andrew; and a great-niece, Elizabeth.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother.
