Kenneth “Butch” Wright Jr., age 65, of Clinton, died Friday Nov. 23, 2012, at his home.
Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 29, at the Pape Funeral Home. Visitation will be held Thursday 9:30 a.m. until the service hour at the funeral home. Burial will be in Glendale Cemetery in LeClaire, IA.

Butch was born on Nov. 16, 1947, in Clinton, the son of Kenneth H. and Betty (Heck) Wright Sr.
He was an ordained minister with the A.I.G.A. while working with the Jail Ministry in Clinton for 28 years. He was a member of the Rock Church in the Quad Cities. He was well known by his friends at the Hy-Vee store and on the Clinton City bus. He volunteered with the Job Corp and enjoyed fishing.
Butch is survived by his two children, Toby and Dawn Wright, both Camanche; six grandsons; two brothers, Jeff (Penny) Wright of Camanche and John Wright of Harrisonburg, VA; four sisters, Diana (Brian) Harrison of Camanche, Mary (Philip) Holt, Sharon (Joe) Stoddard and Patty Wright all of Clinton; his father, Kenneth H. Wright Sr. of Camanche; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his mother in 1977, grandparents and a brother, David.
