DES MOINES —
Honorably retired Rev. Harold E. Butz died Tuesday at Mercy Hospice in Johnston.
A private memorial service will be held Saturday at the Carson Celebration of Life Center in Maquoketa with burial in Mount Hope Cemetery. The Rev. Philip W. Barrett, general presbyter and stated clerk, Presbytery of Des Moines, and the Rev. Ruth Ann Scott, chaplain, will officiate.
