CLINTON —
Paul Shaw Sr., age 82, of Clinton, passed away Saturday, December 1, 2012 at the Alverno Health Care Facility.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, December 6, 2012 at the Pape Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Jim Nichols, Mark Marburger, Steve Ivory, Nick Ivory, Chuck Bilek and Chuck Fuegen.
Paul was born in Lyons on January 1, 1930, the son of Harold Anderson and Hazel Maude (Lockett) Shaw. He married Shirley Palmer on September 2, 1955 in Morrison. Shirley passed away on February 11, 2001. Paul and Shirley owned and operated Shaw Heating, Inc., retiring in 1992.
Paul is survived by a daughter, Cheryl Shaw of Chicago; two sons, Paul (Kristy) Shaw, Jr. of Clinton and Keith (Tammy) Shaw of Lee’s Summit, MO; two grandchildren, Rebecca and Johnathon Shaw; three daughters from his first marriage to Jacqueline Heath, Cynthia Parker of Arkansas, Sheila Story of Georgia and Lori Roach of Missouri; two sisters, Carol Lawson of Clinton and Mary (Dick) Nelson of North Liberty, IA; two brothers, Richard (Janet) Shaw of Clinton and Gary (Kelo) Shaw of Flagstaff, AZ and many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Harold, Robert, Gale, a foster brother Jack Raffles, and two sisters, Francis Bahnsen and Margaret Shaw. Online condolences may be left at www.papefh.com.
