CLINTON —
Thomas J. “TJ” Green, age 29, of Clinton, died Friday, November 30, 2012 in Clinton.
Funeral services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Wednesday, December 5, 2012 at the Pape Funeral Home. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 7:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Burial will be at a later date in Oakland Cemetery. Honorary pallbearers will be John Paul and Brandon Green, Justin Barrette, Danny Williams, Jason Heinitz, David Kreucher and Tim Green.
TJ was born in Iowa City on January 3, 1983, the son of Thomas and Betsy (Kreucher) Green. He worked for J. E. Merit, later Jacobs Engineering as a journeyman electrician. TJ was a member of the First Baptist Church. He enjoyed fishing, golfing, playing poker and following NASCAR and Indy racing. His favorite driver was Mark Martin.
TJ is survived by his mother, Betsy Miller of Clinton; his father, Thomas Green of Camanche; two sisters, Melissa Barrette and Amanda Green, both of Clinton; his paternal grandmother, Viva Bower of Clinton; aunts; uncles; three nieces, two nephews and three great nieces.
