Janice Helen Petersen passed away on Friday, July 13, 2012, in Lake Havasu City, AZ, at the age of 76. Janice was born on August 9, 1935, in Clinton, IA, to John and Helen Morris.
Janice moved to Lake Havasu City in April of 2003 from Nuevo, CA, to be near her son and his family. She enjoyed going to the senior center to play cards with her friends. She also traveled extensively around the world with Bartlett Tours, making many friends along the way. She also enjoyed camping and motorcycle riding in her earlier years. In her spare time, Janice loved to read. She also loved animals and was a generous contributor to the Western Arizona Humane Society and was a member and contributor to the American Cancer Society.
Janice is survived by her son, Eric Petersen and his wife, Martha, of Lake Havasu City, AZ; as well as her sister, June Gaare of Scottsdale, AZ; and her three precious grandchildren, Haylee, Kamryn and Quinn Petersen.
