Joyce K. Martin, 74, of Clinton, died Wednesday at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics, Iowa City, Iowa.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday, October 9, 2012, at Chancy Lutheran Church. Visitation will be Monday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Clinton Chapel Snell-Zornig Funeral Homes and Crematory. Joyce K. Martin was born on March 20, 1938, in Clinton, Iowa, the daughter of Felix and Alma (Hagen) Martin. She was a 1956 graduate of Clinton High School. She went on to attend and graduate from St. Catherine’s in St. Paul Minnesota.
Joyce was a program administrator with Towers Perrin Consulting Firm in Minneapolis, Minnesota, and a assistant to the research manager at Pillsbury in Minneapolis.
Joyce was a lifetime member of Chancy Lutheran Church. She enjoyed arts and crafts and especially sewing.
Joyce is survived by one brother, David Martin of Clinton; and two nephews, Alan Martin and Andy Hansen; three great-nieces and many cousins.
Joyce was preceded in death by her parents, a niece and two sisters.
Memorials can be made to Chancy Lutheran Church.
