MORRISON, Ill. —

Betty Jean Wiebenga, 77, of the Alverno health care facility in Clinton and formerly of Morrison, Ill., died Tuesday, Oct. 23, 2012, at the Alverno.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday, October 29, 2012, at the Morrison Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home with the Rev. Jeff McIlrath, pastor at Emmanuel Reformed Church in Morrison, officiating. Visitation will be 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service Monday, Oct. 29, 2012, at the Morrison Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home. Interment will be in Grove Hill Cemetery, Morrison.
Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
She was born Feb. 24, 1935, in Holdenville, OK, to Jeff and Pearl (Sullivan) Osburn.
Betty was educated in the Firebaugh Grade Schools and was a graduate of Dos Palos High School, Dos Palos, Calif.
She married Arnold G. Wiebenga on June 16, 1956, in Reno, Nev.; he died May 29, 2006.
She was veteran of the U.S. Army serving during the Korean War.
Betty was employed as an insurance clerk at the Morrison Community Hospital for 18 years.
Betty was a member of the Emmanuel Reformed Church in Morrison.
She enjoyed playing slot machines, bingo, sewing and knitting.
Survivors include two daughters, Janet (Jack) Bergstresser of Mooresville, NC, and Karen (Kenneth) Burmester of Clinton; two grandchildren, Jennifer (Kevin) Zimmer and Konnie Burmester; three great-grandchildren, Jack Zimmer, Baylie Zimmer and Bryce Zimmer; and one brother, Jeff (Mattie) Osburn of Elverta, Calif.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Arnold; one grandson, Jack Bergstresser III; and one sister, Geneva Whitaker.
