Richard H. “Dick” Ehredt, 79, of Lake Geneva, WI, died Saturday, July 28, 2012 at Aurora Lakeland Medical Center in Elkhorn, WI.
Richard Henry Ehredt was born in Clinton, IA on August 15, 1932, the son of the late Howard and Loretta (Everhardt) Ehredt.
He graduated from Saint Mary High School in Clinton, IA. On January 27, 1962, in Clinton, IA, he was united in marriage to the former Delores Randall. He served for over 20 years with the United States Navy. Following retirement from the Navy he became a part time police officer in Lake Geneva and was the parking meter supervisor.
He had a great love of fishing. He also enjoyed watching football and was a Washington Redskins fan.
Dick is survived by: Dolores, his wife of 50 years, a son Richard L. Ehredt, of Lake Geneva, WI, a sister, Emily Delaney, a brother James Ehredt, a sister-in-law Thelma Ehredt, many nieces and nephews, and his beloved dog Cali.
He was preceded in death by 2 brothers; Robert and Tom and 2 sisters; Jean Cook and Alice Nemmers.
