Bernice (Camp) Michaels, 71, of Addison, Illinois, passed away Sunday, February 3, 2013 at Loyola University Hospitals in Maywood, IL.
A Graveside Service will be held Wednesday, February 6, 2013, at 9:30 at Emblem Cemetery in Elmhurst, IL.
Bernice was born August 30, 1941, in Davenport, Iowa, the daughter of Harry and Loretta (Dietz) Camp. She graduated from Preston High School in 1958 and from St. Luke's Nursing School of Davenport in 1960. She married Robert Michaels on April 17, 1965 and they resided in Addison, IL; he died March 29, 1991. Bernice retired from nursing after 48 years of service at Gottlieb Memorial Hospital of Maywood, IL.
Bernice will be dearly missed by her daughters, Bernice (Craig) Kickel of Boise, Idaho and Linda Michaels of Addison, IL; two grandchildren Christine and Harrison Kickel; two brothers, Victor (Joyce) Camp of Goose Lake, IA; three sisters, Shirley (Harold) Losby of Iowa City, IA, Donna Mae (John) Heckmann of Miles, IA, and Patricia (Basil) Dale of Arizona and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and husband.
