ERIE, Ill. —
Harold D. VanOosten, 87, of Erie, died Wednesday, February 20, 2013, at Trinity Rock Island in Rock Island, Ill.
Funeral services will be 10:30 a.m. Monday, February 25, 2013, at the Morrison Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home with Ken Renkes, director of congregational care at Ebenezer Reformed Church in Morrison, officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 7 p.m. Sunday, February 24, 2013, at the Morrison Chapel of the Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home. Interment will be in the Grove Hill Cemetery, Morrison.
Memorials may be made to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
Survivors include his wife, Marilyn; one daughter, Patricia James of Erie; two sons, Larry (Connie) VanOosten of Erie and Charles (Sandra) VanOosten of Plant City, FL; seven grandchildren; fifteen great-grandchildren; and one sister, Arlene (Jake) Damhoff of Erie.
