Phyllis Elaine Schumacher, 86, of Russellville, Ar., passed away Thursday, February 21, 2013 in Russellville. The daughter of Golden and Edna (Brown) Davis, she was born December 31, 1926 in Rantoul, Illinois. She was preceded in death by her parents; a daughter Pamela Conover; and two grandchildren: Michelle Brock 1985 and Joshua Howard 1978.
She married Joseph Howard Sr. in 1944 in Biloxi Mississippi. She later married Dallas Fred Schumacher in 1980 in Clinton.
Left to cherish her memory is her husband, Dallas Schumacher of Russellville, two daughters; Patricia Colbert of Sacramento, CA and Phyllis (Stephen) Slattery of Dubuque; a son, Joseph (Rachel) Howard Jr. of Camanche; 7 grandchildren and 17 great-grand-children.
Cremation arrangements are under the direction of Humphrey Funeral Services in Russellville. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date in Dubuque for family and friends.
