Richard J. “Dick” Hanrahan, 64, of DeWitt, Iowa passed away at his home on January 2nd, 2013.
A memorial service will take place at 4:00 p.m. on Monday, January 7th at Lemke Funeral Homes - South Chapel (west side of Clinton Lawn cemetery). A visitation will occur 2 hours prior to the memorial service from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will take place at a later date. Lemke Funeral Homes is assisting the family with arrangements.
Richard was born December 22, 1948 in Clinton, Iowa, the son of Urban and Marcella (Connole) Hanrahan. Richard was a 1964 graduate of DeWitt Central High School.
Richard enjoyed watching the Iowa Hawkeye football team.
Richard is survived by one daughter, Jill Kind of Brooklyn Park, MN.; two granddaughters, Marcella and Allana; one brother, Tom Hanrahan of Woodland Hill, CA.; one nephew Conor of California.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
