Floyd L. Dyas, 71, of Ames and formerly of Maquoketa, died Nov. 27 in Albuquerque, N.M.
A celebration of his life will be held at 6:30 p.m. Friday at the Carson Celebration of Life Center in Maquoketa, where friends and family may gather prior to the service from 6 to 6:30 p.m. Hors d’oeuvres and refreshments will be served immediately following the services at Carson’s. Burial will be at a later date in the Mount Hope Cemetery in Maquoketa.
