CHADWICK, Ill. — Jennie C. Rose, 74, of Chadwick, IL, died Friday, December 4, 2009, at her home.

Funeral services are at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, December 9, 2009 at the Fulton Chapel Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home, with the Rev. Jeff McIlrath, Pastor at Emmanuel Reformed Church, Morrison, IL, officiating. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, December 8, 2009, at the Fulton Chapel Bosma-Renkes Funeral Home. Interment is at the Fulton Township Cemetery, Fulton, IL. Memorials may be directed to the Emmanuel Reformed Church, Morrison, IL.

Jennie was born September 14, 1935, in Fulton, IL, to Earl and Grace (Blink) Hook. She was educated in the rural Whiteside County grade schools and was a graduate of Erie High School, Erie, IL.

She married LaVerne E. Rose on October 18, 1955, in Erie, IL; he survives.

Jennie was a member of Emmanuel Reformed Church, Morrison, IL. She greatly enjoyed flowers and other house plants.

Survivors included her husband, LaVerne; one son, Rodney (Geraldine) Rose, Chadwick, IL; and one granddaughter, Annette Rose, Chadwick, IL.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and four brothers, John, Epe, Isaac and Donald Hook.
