CLINTON —
I would like to publicly commend the mayor and City Council for the business conducted at the Committee of the Whole meeting on Dec. 18.
The council heard a very thorough and professional presentation from Paul Greufe, the city’s human relations consultant, outlining a recommended process for selection of the city administrator. The mayor and the council listened carefully, asked thoughtful and perceptive questions, engaged in productive discussion, and reached a consensus on the next step in the process.
This meeting was a good example of what the voters expect and deserve from their elected officials.
It’s a good start toward successfully filling a very important position in city government. Thanks to all who participated in a thoughtful, professional, and respectful process. Keep up the good work.
