Agency working to avoid setback with construction

CLINTON — Clinton County Area Solid Waste Agency Director of Operations Brad Seward will work to manage trash hauls with road construction right by the landfill.

During the CCASWA meeting on Thursday, Seward told the board that he had just learned that day of a road closure set to run from today until Nov. 2. A section of 13th Avenue North from Mill Creek Parkway to the landfill will be closed for concrete patching.

A detour will be set up for Mill Creek Parkway to Second Avenue South to 425th Avenue. Seward planned to inform their haulers as soon as possible, but he said those coming from the west will have to drive through the barricades.

Seward encouraged people to contact the City of County for detour information.
